Kevin T. Byrne is a graduate of Boston College and Boston College Law School. He earned a Master of Laws degree in Trial Advocacy from Georgetown University Law Center while participating in the E. Barrett Prettyman Fellowship program. Kevin has been engaged in the private practice of law since 1965 and became of counsel to Lian, Zarrow, Eynon and Shea in 1997.

Kevin is a former president of the Worcester County Bar Association and former president of the National Council of Alcoholism, Worcester Area. He was a Trustee and Treasurer of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation. He is a recipient of the Massachusetts Bar Association Community Service Award, a Director of the Worcester County Bar Foundation. He has served as the Town of Shrewsbury Moderator since 1974. He received the Eleanor Roosevelt Humanitarian Award from the Town of Shrewsbury Democratic Committee.

Kevin has concentrated his practice in the area of plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation. He also practices business litigation, family and probate law, estate planning, real estate and zoning and municipal law.

Attorney Byrne has been admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, 1964, District of Columbia, 1964, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, 1965, U.S. Court of Military Appeals, 1965, U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, 1966, and U.S. Supreme Court, 1989.

He has published Criminal Defense Technique, C. Pes (Editor), Matthew Bender Company, 1974 and Rights and Responsibilities of Youth in Massachusetts, Youth Resources, Inc., 1975. He has taught seminars in Trial Advocacy for the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education Program from 1982 to 1990. He has chaired the Lawyer Referral Service of the Worcester County Bar Association from 1990 to the present.
