Melissa A. Moore joined Lian, Zarrow, Eynon & Shea in April 2007 as an associate. She is a graduate of the Academy of Notre Dame, Providence College (Cum Laude), and Roger Williams University School of Law. She was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 2005, and the Federal District Court for the District of Massachusetts in 2007.

During law school, Melissa was involved in a variety of internships that have helped to shape her current practice style. She was an intern with the Rhode Island Commission on Human Rights, where she became well versed in EEOC complaints. Melissa was a student prosecutor for the Rhode Island Attorney General’s office, where she worked on juvenile prosecutions. In addition, Melissa was an intern at the Defense Institute for International Legal Studies (DIILS), which is adjacent to the Naval Justice School in Newport, Rhode Island. While at DIILS, she participated in the development of an international terrorism course to be taught to military officers from the United States and abroad. Finally, she was a domestic violence intern at Rhode Island Legal Services. In addition to her varied internship experiences, Melissa worked for Sakonnet Vineyard in Little Compton Rhode Island during law school, where she was a marketing representative and tasting room staff member. She has attended wine expositions all over Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

After graduation from law school, Ms. Moore served as an admissions representative for the Roger Williams University School of Law for its fall recruiting season. After she was sworn into the Massachusetts Bar, Ms. Moore worked for Wolpoff & Abramson, LLP, a firm representing creditors.  Melissa's practice at LZES has become wide and varied. Her main focus has been on Probate and Family law including divorce, wills and estates, adoption and elder protection and guardianships.

Ms. Moore is a member of the Notre Dame Academy Alumnae Association Board of Directors, the Providence College Sailing Team Alumni Association, of P.E.O. Chapter AA, Worcester, and of the Worcester County and Massachusetts Bar Associations.
